We will then schedule a consultation, at the earliest convenient time, that works for you and Dr Hassan, whereby Dr Hassan will take plenty of time to go through the details of your symptoms and your medical history with you, whilst also conducting a detailed medical examination.
If clinically indicated, Dr Hassan will then discuss and arrange additional investigations and diagnostic tests like CT or Ultrasound Chest, blood tests, Sleep Study or Lung function.
Dr Hassan will then formulate a diagnosis and management plan putting all the pieces of information and examination findings together and then involve you in decision making by going through pros and cons of all possible treatment options and recommend the best approaches based on your preferences, success rates, comfort, and more.
After starting initial treatment and educating you about managing your condition, we will agree if and when follow up is needed. But in many cases, this is not necessary.

Dr Hassan is covered by all major insurance companies including but not limited to the following: BUPA, AVIVA, AXA, Exeter, WPA, Vitality, General & Medical, Simply Health, Freedom Health, SAGA etc
Note: It is important to call your insurance company to make sure you are covered by your policy. You can then obtain an authorisation code which you can give to the booking team at the hospital you choose. Most insurers will require you to have a referral letter from your GP or other clinician. This will help by providing us with a detailed medical history and anything pertaining to your current needs.
You don't have to have health insurance to get access to private treatment. Increasingly, many patients are choosing to pay for their treatment as and when it is needed. You will only be charged for the treatment you need, and you can rest assured that there are no hidden costs. Everything you pay for will be discussed with you up front, either by Dr Hassan's office or the hospital in which your treatment takes place.
